A Week With a Rodent
What could we do? Both of us 60 years old and never been to a Disney wonderland of any kind. So, we jumped on an airplane and met our daughter, Sarah, son-in-law Paul and two grandkids Ben and Taylor in Orlando. I had been to Orlando before on business trips and of course, I always found the families - complete with ankle biters - annoying and impeding my way to some crucially important meeting. Now the shoe was on the other foot. What to do? We morphed into a family complete with ankle biters and I smiled knowingly at the "suits" as they scowled at me for impeding their dash for the rental cars. P.S. Had to keep the Blackberry on for emergency purposes.

And I'll bet that the laptop-toting businesspeople sitting in front of you on the airplane loved it when you encouraged Ben & Taylor to kick the back of their seats on the flight down!
Who wouldn't love to be taken around Disney in a luxury push carriage while watching Opa shake hands with Eeyore? Great stuff. Looks like a good time was had by all.
I would like to thank Opa for being such a trooper on this trip. Theme Parks and crowds and crappy food are not his thing, but he did it for the children (the two little ones and Paul, the big one). When Paul suggested the trip, I said no way...unless Oma and Opa come for backup. Thank goodness they did!!!
